At 'Ural' competitions young children have an opportunity to start with no fear to be lost in a forest.
Courses for 6-10-year children are equipped with railing. There is a white plastic strip laid on a groung from a start point to a finish point with no breaks. It is drawn on a map as a wide orange line under map symbols.
C6-course is designed for kids under seven followed by adult persons. The whole course is railed by a white plastic strip. The railing is drawn on a map as a wide orange line under map symbols. On a way from start to finish a small team (kid+adult) passes 5 controls. 3 of 5 controls are drawn on a map and a kid must check exactly these controls with a SI-card using pictures with animals as control codes.
Bibs and maps are given to both kids and their followers.
RR-course is designed for 7-8-year kids. The whole course is railed by a white plastic strip. The railing is drawn on a map as a wide orange line under map symbols. All controls are on the railing.
TR-course is planned for 9-12-year children. All controls are either close to a railing or near it. The railing is drawn on a map as a wide orange line under map symbols. Using rails we make difficult courses within 12-year kids' orienteering skills.
